U3A joins the Gude Cause Procession, Edinburgh 10 Oct 2009
Gude Cause was formed to mark the 100th anniversary of the Women's Suffrage Procession along Princes Street in 1909. The culmination of this celebration was a re-enactment of this procession. It paid tribute to the women in Scotland who fought for their right to vote and celebrated the power of women's contribution to society, culture and all aspects of public and private life in 21st century Scotland.
