We are looking forward to next week as Dora says we can have birthday treats ? I have been here a year now and Ben has been here 6 months so he must be about a year old. As we have both been rescued Dora says she does not know our real birthday dates so she has chosen 1st. February.

Honey, I had a telephone call from Lesley who had heard from Bedlington Rescue, there was a little dog needed rescuing from my local area, I was advised to take someone with me, so Roy, Jacks dad came with me. We were both quite appalled by how she was, I had intended to take her straight home, but it was impossible as she was ridden with fleas, and had no fur from the shoulders down. The vet kept her in and gave her the once over, I picked her up the next day, she had a couple of more visits to the vet, and was prounced fairly fit. But emotionaly she was a wreck, she would not hold her head up and kept in the down position. I took a week off work to look after her, and she gradually became accepting of me, but hated strangers. She finally found a lovely home in Wales, and now I can look at her pictures with out crying at last. I am sure she is now very happy.
Rose on her own, my special girl....I sing her the song "Second Hand Rose"
Rose and Baby Willo all snuggled up. Rose has always been the kindess, most accepting girl....all the rescue/re-homes seem to have learned to roll with the punches. I was very fortunate to re-home Rose she is a very special girl & turned 8 years old in August.
Rose, Greyson & Sam the cat napping in the crate. If you are the lucky dog that gets to lay beside Sam, you get a "Kitty Massage" he will lick the dogs, like he is giving them a bath & they LOVE it. How did I ever get so lucky to have all these sweet ones in my life?Trish & the Woofs
Storey sunning herself....one of her favorite activities. Where ever there is a patch of sun, she will be in it. I think she feels at home.
Storey's happy face. She looks up at me like this all the time. Her face is full of curiosity, trust and contentment....she is such an angel.

Barney is is such a happy, loving chap. He adores everyone, human and animal and we are blessed that we found him. He is very very full on and active, long long walks are his fav activity. He was the class clown at puppy training! He loves tennis balls, his kong and roast chicken. He also loves a sleep in front of the fire as you can see from one of the photo. The dog bed in the photo is too small, but it is his spare and he loves to drag it wherever he wants to sleep.
