Cumbria - Lake District, England - May 2008 23-26 May, 2008 The gang set off on a 3-day trip to Lake District hoping to 'relax' in the English countryside.....however, ends up having one of the most adventurous, action-packed and unforgettable trips ever !!! We went up in a 7-seater Vauxhall Zafira and returned in a swanky, luxurius 'Land Rover'...in between, had a tyre-burst, got stranded in a deserted countryside for 4 hours in the night with no food ...and loads and loads of other twists and turns !!! But ultimately, all's well that end's well, and having obtained a lot of refunds (including the full car rental fee), this trip turned out to be one of the most cost-effective ones we've had :)
