The Best Yet
These photos were taken on May 24. We travelled to a small village outside of Hyderabad where the main source of income is hand weaving and hand loomed fabrics. Each family spends dawn to dusk weaving beautiful sarees. They have been doing it for over 300 years. It was incredible. It takes 45 days to make 8 sarees between an entire family (even the children). They make about $1.50 per Saree they sell. The area is called Pochanpally.
