A visit to the Ben Nevis distillery... could think of worst thing to do on a Saturday ;)
That "water" flowing there is the pure alcohol distilled from the fermented barley... whisky is clear in its first stage.. it's the x years in a cask that gives it its golden color
Our tour guide... the guys are taking in every word.. and making notes to start their own brand ;p
Whisky in the making... yeast bubbling away
sampling of the final product.. Ben Nevis whisky, 4 years old.

So after 4 weeks of doing this... (that's my first circuit board with logic gates :P)
we're suppose to be able to fix this... anyone else see a problem here? (ROV circuits shown here)
Courses at the Center are serious and thorough... with graphics to pass on complicated informations clearly... [top right : air diver, 40-50m / middle : SAT diver, aka fuckin super heros with inflated egos, 200-300m / bottom left : ROV, 1000-2000m, not even breakin a sweat.. who's the hot stuff now guys?! ]
more scientific graphics... When an rov fails (breaks down, shuts down), it has to be pushed back in the TMS (the lift) by hand to be brought back on the boat... guess who'll be doing that? going in the zodiak, in the rain and wind, while the others are taking a piss at her... [sad dude in the boat : trainee aka me soon / rectangle with red wire : failed rov / 3 dudes smiling : rest of the team shouting "useful" advices]
"the weather in Scotland changes every 10 minutes"

Last night of SAT that's Pete n Pete with their new hairdo
Pete n Wayne
Brotherly love..
That has to be the ugliest hair cut I've seen... how long will it stay on you think? The bet (if still on) is 6 months... I say 6 hours :P
The dunce hat is back!
the new batch of freshly certified bloody superheros MIA : Jimmy, Phil (who left early), and another guy I don't think I've seen ever...
My classmates, the rov team! (minus Tom who didn't go out that night, and Rodney who had done piloting first and left last week) [Kevin, Robin, Simone, Slawec, Gareth and Guillaume in front]

green... daffodils... whisky... Scotland.
My first haggis!!! Homemade at the castle, with homemade onion chutney, cheddar from the Orkney isle; Ilse of Skye whisky and beer to wash it down... typical Scottish meal Believe it or not it's fantastic!!!
my beer is on fire... not used to that much sun ;)
